Current Events – Spring 2021

  • Re- Entry Coaching with Coaching Beyond the Fences. This online zoom class is provided for recently released inmates and their support system. Classes are held 2 times weekly for 1 hour on zoom www.coachingbeyondthefences.com
  • Leadership with Coaching Beyond the Fences. This online zoom class is for People in Re- Entry, training to be professional Life coaches
  • Mentoring 1 on 1 coaching sessions with coaches training for certification

Recent Historical Events

  1. Weekly two hour training at Mabel Bassett using the A-team (a group of 7 female inmates all of whom have been through basic training, boot camp, and have practiced co-leading). The A-team is set to lead weekly workshops at Mabel Bassett beginning the week of September 4, 2012 through December with assistants from Life on Purpose volunteer team.
  2. 2012 ICF conference, the week of October 3, 2012 in London – Reuel is attending on behalf of ICF Colorado and Coaching Kids Inc. Follow the updates on the conference www.CoachingKids.org/blog
  3. The new program has been approved at the Denver Women’s Correctional Facility (DWCF) on September 27, 2012 – the paper work came in while Reuel was in London, and several volunteers received their approval papers. Scheduling of the new program is being worked out with the Captain at DWCF.
  4. New Basic Training two-day workshop being scheduled in mid to late September for new volunteers. If you are interested, please send an email to volunteer@coachingkids.org.
